Bits of me, on Oct 2011.

Survive another CF College week & playing futsal for the very first time. And I found out that I could not kick a ball.

Finally fulfilling my promise to Austyn for a visit to Spore..

After more than 10 years she's there. Well, It's great to experience the city alone, while she's working. Being a coward, I only rely on MRT as my main transport.

After a year...

I suddenly realized that it's been slightly a year after my last post on my blog..What had I done for the past 1 year plus?

Before that, I wish myself a Happy Belated 32nd Birthday. It seems that as age goes by, birthday means less to me. When Panda asked me what I want this year - I told him - nothing? This does not mean that I had lower down my requirements.. blek! It's not about gifts anymore. And so unromantically - this was the day's agenda.

• Panda woke me up at 12.30am, wishing me Happy Birthday.. So sweet hor?
• Woke-up by my niece shouting, crying & banging on my door - Yiyi, open the door...
• She sang me a Birthday Song...NICE in capital letter...
• Replying birthday wishes on sms..
• Hah.. Doing some errands - bills, what else?
• Meeting up with Siew Wan, & have lunch with her & her hubby.. What a big light bulb!
• Doing some shopping.. and buying birthday cake for my niece.. Yes, I have to get her cakes on by b'day.
• Waiting, and waiting for Panda to finish work and have dinner with me...
• Dinner - well, at small "siew-chao" restaurant, with Siew Wan & her hubby - 4 of us.. ahhh... get a life!
• Proceed to 2nd session @ Kopitiam...

Is this what you'll be doing on yr b'day? Omg.. helpless......

What do I want for this birthday? Well, may my work continue to flourish (chi-sin), more pay less work.. My prince in broken-rusty armour finally found me in the tower... Sorry, I hair had been cut short again... Am not able to help you up..

I just want to be H.A.P.P.Y!

What a wish... I start to believe, as you grow older.. achem.. and wiser (perhaps), we would like to have things to be simple in life.

May this be a good start for many more to come...

It sucks!!!

Everything so sucks today.. Everything seems to pissed me off today.. Snoring Pig is back to home time to become his sister's chauffeur to the bus station.

Even my hair pissed me off. Snoring Pig is the one who pissed me off the most.

Why?

He was the one who asked ppl out for drinks last night after the wedding dinner he's attending. Wtf, it takes 30 mins for him to reach my house and he's drunk.. Damn it! He even throw up 2 times before we went in to meet up with SW & Alex. Damn fucked up..

And...

I had said that I will not attend any of his family dinner/ function until he volunteer to mine. I am sick of him. You want to withdrawn from mine - I will not turn in to yours. I'll make it happen...

Letter to a 16 years old - YenYee

Dear 16 Years Old YenYee,

After reading the posting to "TimothyTiah" and "FourFeetNine", I had decided to write this letter... opss.. it's a post to a 16 year old me.

Being not a very brilliant self, you still will managed yr secondary school kidda well with lil' taste of skipping class, self-declared early break from school, boycott Teacher's Day celebration, and absent from school for 1 whole month. These will be accomplished within the same year when you are in 5 Lily @ 2007.

Being sandwiched between 2 groups of friends, you managed to really enjoying yr school life - with WaiYin, ChoyPeng, HungYoon, YenLin, SeowWei, and SeewHuey. On the other side of the class - WaiKuan, SiewWan, SauLai, KooiBee, MelissaLok, PakYee and PuiLing. Yr most favourite subject in class will be Physical Education because the teacher will allow you to play any games that you like - and the choice will always be NetBall. The match will always be MCA vs UNMO. MCA always win and regardless winning or losing - all of you will have a good time and these Malay girls learn the most important Cantonese word at the game : "LeeBin" means over here, "BeiNgo" means give to me. This helps their future match with you girls.

SPM exams for that year - you will only start to prepare yourself when you will to take yr trail exams. And yr results? Your score will be far far from yr own belief in yr SPM. Yr aggregate is 12.. Not in yr wildest dream you can get this score - well, it could be the overall scores for all SPM students within the nation not that good on that particular year.

You will have ZERO love life in yr school life no doubt how badly you dream you will have. It's because you are too UGLY, and too LOUD. Anyway, you are still the same 10 years, or 20 years after that - UGLY & LOUD. I believe this 2 quality never fades over the years..

What do you want to do after Form 5? Year 2007 will be the year whereby George Soros will do some famous deed causing a downturn of economy in Malaysia. You really wish you will work in the the hospitality industry - hotel management or tourism. But with the economy situation back then, doing a business program will be much safer - you will not starve to death....

Later on, you will enrolled to Form 6 in which later you will be accepted into a Polytechnic. Yr 3 years life in polytechnic had been reported in an post last year..
After graduating with yr Diploma from Polytechnic - you will be finally launched into the Slave Market by end of 2001.

After polytechnic - have your mindset changed on what I want to do? :-)
Well, it's seems that it will be a trend for the big companies to hire "Management Trainees" and you will be again very interested to be one. But somehow you will still remains in Ipoh. In yr mind, you will plan to set off to Singapore, KL or maybe Penang.. What went wrong, or where went wrong? You wan to be in the advertising world or maybe FMGC... These companies are exciting... well.. somewhere, some when, somehow - something went wrong....

First job after graduation - you will go back to the company where you had undergone yr industrial training, but it will more than a mth. You will go to this company with a fancy name - New Horizons where you will bear the title of Account Executive.. Wow! Fancy Title but you will need to make 60 cold calls to potential customers in a day. Yellow Pages will be yr best workmate. You will repeat he same thing on the phone with different person over and over again - 60 times a day. Salute to all those True TeleMarketer.. I will not able to cope it will only last for merely 3 months.

You will moved to a Chinese owned manufacturing company doing all these plastic packaging materials and you will stay there for almost 3 years, under Production Admin. This will be the place where you will your chance to gang-up with yr colleagues and we have our company trips, long lunch breaks, and our little outings on every Saturday after we are off from work.

Finally, on Jun 2004 - you will make another move to this company where you are still working in right now....

Your taste of men will changed from when you are 16 yrs old and 10 years after :
When you are 16, you wish that he will be like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman - rich, handsome, charming, ROMANTIC, sexy eyes and the list never ends.

You will have yr 1st bf when you are 20 while still in polytechnic : a mr smart, confidence & both of you are the same kind of person. But both of you will only be together for 9 months - both of you will broke off on the 2nd day of CNY on 2000. Both of you will still be in touch even 10 yrs after that..

You will have yr 2nd bf when you are 23 : a colleague of yours. He will try his best to accommodate your needs but in return you do not treasure cos you do not want a guy that yes to you all the time. Both of you broke up on the 14th day of CNY on 2005. You do not really in touch with him because in your heart, you are guilty!

You will have yr 3rd bf when you are 26 : and ex-colleague & a Mr Snoring Pig who do not have a single romantic bone in his body! Argh!!! And you are still with him now... from 18 Mar 2006 until today...

AL, SW & KB will named you as CNY Killer : Because you always broke up on CNY, and they will always tease Mr Snoring Pig whenever CNY approaches - Beware of Yr GF. Lucky enough, he is not from Ipoh, & he will be definately away from you on CNY!

These will be the changes you will endure from today (you are 16), until you are 26....

Hong Kong & Back

Finally done with Hong Kong trip.. Much awaited, tiring, and well an eye opening trip to what I have, and what to strive for... Day 1 :

• Arrival to airport & cousin's helper is meeting us at airport.


• Eye opening : The immigration is very efficient and lines are open when they see the crowd.


• The bus ride from airport back to North Point is not comfortable, as we are not used to it.


• Lunch : Cousin sister had cooked duck noodles, & it's yummy. She really can cook.


• Get direction from MaryJane (the helper) on the direction to nearest MTR station.


• 1st time riding on MTR & the experience is good. The transport system is smooth.


• MRT ride from Fortress Hill to Hong Kong Station. The system is modern & sleekly clean.


• From HK station, walk to IFC2, & took mini bus ride to The Peak @ Kowloon.


• Tea break in The Peak, & having "RedBeanIce - HK Style" for the 1st time.


• Madame Tussaud - Back to Central & dinner with cousin in Yung Kee near Lan Kwai Fong.

Day 2 :

• Breakfast : 1st time dining in "Char-Chan-Teng" HK Style.


• We had noodles with Ham, & eggs, Porridge with century eggs & pork & "cheung-fun".


• MRT ride from Fortress Hill to HK Station, & change to Tung Chung Line, & discharge at Sunny Bay.


• 1st time at Disneyland, & enjoying the views.


• Did not managed to experience the 3D shows, & parade but overall is good.


• Dinner at De Coral Cafe in North Point.

Day 3 :

• Breakfast : Wanton Noodles near North Point Market.


• Original plan is Causewaybay, Mongkok, Ladies Street, Temple Street, & TST.


• Change of Plan : No Causeway Bay, but we are going to Citygate.


• Route : MRT : Island Line, to Tung Chung Line & discharge at Tung Chung station.


• Took MTR to East TST station.


• Managed to TST for Sogo, & Symphony of Light.


• Took Star Ferry from TST back to Central.


• Another tiring day & reach North Point for dinner at another char-chan-teng around 10 pm.

Day 4 :

• Breakfast at the same morning char-chan-teng. I have a yummy bowl of Roasted Pork Noodles. - Macau one day trip.


• MTR to Seung Wan station & Turbojet to Macau Terminal.


• Senado Square, & the ruins of St Paul Church.


• Took free shuttle to City of Dreams & Venetian.


• Dinner at Venetian food court.


• Took free shuttle to Taipa Terminal & going back to HK via Cotai Jet.


• Back to North Point again, around 10.30 pm.

Day 5 :

• Last day @ Hong Kong.


• Breakfast : Ngau-Lam-Min. Very yummy & aunty said that shop we went is famous.


• Stroll around North Point area & do some shopping.


• Board of CityFlyer (airport bus again) to airport.


• Back to MY at 10.15pm & to Ipoh at 3.00am
