Phuket - Mar 2011

The much awaited trip to Phuket trip was finally here, and the itinerary as below :

04 Mar 2011 : Friday Night
- Drive to Mr Wong's house to fetch him
- Receive sms from SW - to grab something to eat before the bus.

05 Mar 2011 : Saturday
- Dinner/ Supper/ Breakfast @ Choy Kee, Ipoh Garden
- 0200 hrs : Reached Yoyo office @ Bercham. Yes, sleeping at the office's couch.
- 0300 hrs to 0630 hrs : Bus ride from Ipoh to LCCT.
- Reach LCCT, & start loitering / sleeping in McD, & Coffeebean until ready to check-in.
- 1245 hrs : Flight AK826 take-off from LC06CT to Phuket.
- Time switch from +8.00 GMT to +7.00 GMT
- 1250 hrs : Arrival to Phuket Int'l Airport. Flight was 10 min ahead of schedule
- 1330 hrs : Done with custom (the Q extremely long), & luggage claim. Meet up with driver.
- 1500 hrs : Reach & checked in to "Sleep With Me" service apartment. Relieve that the condition of the room & hotel is good (as per review).
- Fantasea : Lil' disappointment with the tour agent on punctuality & seating issue.
- Having "ding-ding dai chan" (Microwave - frozen food/ meals) at SW's room.

06 Mar 2011 : Island Hopping
- Punctuality issue again with the pick up to James Bond Island.
- The van is picking up couples (yes, coincidentally) from 3 different hotels around Patong, before he drop to our place. He made a total of 5 pick up before we head to the pier.
- Activities : Canoeing in 2 island, walk around James Bond Island, & a swimming session (unfortunately, I can't swim).
- Finally back to apartment around 6pm, & damn tired.
- Dinner @ McD,
- Walk around JungCeylon & food shopping at Carrefour.
- "ding-ding dai-chan" again in SW's room.

07 Mar 2011 : Free & Easy
-Started our day later today, around 10am local time since it's free & easy day.
- Walk to Patong town area.. a whole 20 - 30 min walk under the sun.
- Buying lil' souvenirs @ OTOP market, Hard Rock, and shopping at Robinson.. Burnt a hole in the pocket... Got my sister's luggage bag, myself a pair of hush puppies walking shoes..
- Eat all you can lunch, cum dinner of Japanese shabu shabu.
- Yes, again "ding-ding dai-chan" at SW's room.
- And trouble with sleeping due to animal snoring from bed next t0 me.

08 Mar 2011 : Last Day
- Due to trouble sleeping from the previous night, I woke up early & in deep anger with Mr Wong from the noise he made last night.
- Get myself ready, & went to the restaurant alone for a silent breakfast & reading time.
- We have city tour today to Big Buddha, Wat Chalong, Chinatown, & BigC hyper market before head back to airport.
- Dinner at airport, with some walking around & reading...
- 2115 hrs : Flight AK829 depart fr Phuket Airport, & reach LCCT at 11.45pm (local time).
- Supper at Oldtown Kopitiam @ LCCT

09 Mar 2011
- Further loiter in a more comfortable Coffeebean until 1.40am
- 0200 hrs : Yoyo bus depart fr LCCT & reach Bercham office around 0600 hrs.
- 0635 hrs : I am finally home for good.
